Laxton Lodge Barns are part of a larger property which originally gave entrance to the village of Laxton.
The barns and other outbuildings including stables and carriage sheds where all once part of a fully working farm and equestrian centre dating back to 1870.
The barns built-in 1870 where purchased by a Nottinghamshire family in 2013 who wanted to create a rural retreat for businesses while utilising the amazing surrounding Nottinghamshire countryside – and with easy access to London, Leeds and Edinburgh.
The family wanted as a priority to ensure the barns and outbuildings were renovated to an exceptionally high standard to create a relaxing working rural environment and improving the day to day working atmosphere of the business who use the facilities.
The relaxing environment allows businesses of all kinds to bring valued customers and guests for meetings and conferences
In 2014 work started on the main barn to create a two-storey office space positioned perfectly with views over the surrounding gardens and overlooking the countryside.
The main barn included three well-sized and fully serviced offices, large boardroom, kitchen area, welfare facilities and disabled access.
The Boardroom location was positioned to allow maximum light to flood in from both North and South via a full glazed wall – doubling up as a glass whiteboard (cool) and also overlooking the courtyard and well-stocked Kio ponds.
In 2017, work continued on utilising one of the old cart sheds to create a luxury canteen and conference room/meeting area. Again maximising the views of the beautiful countryside.
The before and after photos below show the extensive works and care taken in maintaining some of the amazing 1870 features.
On-going renovation ensures this prestigious location can meet most business needs.
